Dear Grafton County Delegate,
We, the taxpayers of Grafton County, cannot afford the endless spending by you delegates and the Commissioners. Additionally, as I point out in my LTE, we, the taxpayers of Grafton County, have no voice at the Commissioners’ Meetings and no vote on financial decisions made by each of you. We, the taxpayers of Grafton County should be afforded a referendum vote on all new building expenditures, especially the building of another courthouse and, now, the proposed building of another nursing home. We are still paying off the bond on the “new” jail!
I believe there is much wasteful spending and mismanagement at the Grafton County Complex.
Under present statute, only YOU can get this untenable situation under control as our voice and through your vote.
Please do your job on behalf of the Grafton County taxpayer rather than thinking of Party politics. These unaffordable expenditures are ridiculous at a time when our County Bond Rating has been DOWNGRADED by an international and well-respected firm, Moody’s Ratings, a leading global provider of bond credit ratings and research.
