Homeowners received letters from the Town of Bedford’s assessing department with a new property tax valuation. The Town made the decision to re-evaluate every two years instead of every five.
If you wish to appeal your new valuation, YOU HAVE ONLY UNTIL AUGUST 13 to do so. You can do it in person as well, by making an appointment according to the instructions in the letter, or online.
If you write, please be advised they left out the TOWN in Vision’s address, which should be HUDSON, MA. Be sure to include your PID # as well.
You can send a list of reasons you feel your proposed new assessment is not fair, (such as repairs needed or updates not made) along with photos of the problem areas to support your appeal.
