March 15, 2026. HCR 13 (US Term Limits) is virtually DEAD in New Hampshire! On Thursday, Republican Rep. Michael Granger moved to table the application as soon as it was brought up on the floor; and the full House voted to back him up (189-159).

Then almost 3 hours later, Rep. Granger stepped up again and successfully defeated Speaker Pro Tem Jim Kofalt’s motion (139-193) that would have removed HCR 13 from the table—so that it could be debated and voted upon.

Any further attempts take to take HCR 13 off the table will require a 2/3 vote, since March 12th was the deadline for it to pass by a majority. That makes the US Term Limits application as good as DEAD for 2026!

New Hampshirites are unique, and that’s reflected in their refined floor sessions. The heated debates are softened by “Parliamentary Inquiries,” AKA “PI’s.” You can listen to Rep. Granger’s motion to table HCR 13 @ 4:58:40 (4 min); and Speaker Pro Tem Jim Kofalt’s motion to take HCR 13 off the table @ 7:39:50 (6 min)—and their accompanying PI’s.

Please send a special THANK YOU to Rep. Granger, (Michael.Granger@gc.nh.gov) who is willing to stand up for our Constitution. And also, thank all members of the New Hampshire House who voted for Rep. Granger’s motion to lay HCR 13 on the table.
