We can’t imagine why Governor Ayotte, after promising not to ‘Mass Up NH’, signed several bills that would allow predatory developers from out of state to start soliciting homeowners in neighborhoods that were formerly zoned single-family with offers to help turn those neighborhoods into rental zones.
Make no mistake, these companies are not interested in helping you the homeowner, your families, or small business contractors in NH. This would do nothing to help supply or affordability of housing.
These companies seem only interested in buying up properties they can rent for large profits. They do not care that you bought your home in a once-quiet neighborhood but that now your neighborhood could even be turned into an AirBnB or VRBO zone.
