CNHT 16th Annual Taxpayer Picnic
Results of First Straw Poll of the Season
Hillsborough, NH — The Coalition of NH Taxpayers held its 16th Annual Taxpayer Reunion Picnic on Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 11 AM – 3 PM at the American Legion #59 in Hillsborough NH.
This year’s keynote speaker was Betsy McCaughey, PhD, author of “Beating Obamacare 2014” and regularly featured guest on FOX NEWS. A former Lt. Governor of New York State, Ms. McCaughey is a patient advocate, constitutional scholar, syndicated columnist, and regular contributor on Fox News and CNBC. Her rousing speech outlining the pitfalls and consequences of the massive Obamacare bill was well-received.
Most all of the candidates for NH Governor, US Senate and both Congressional Districts, as well as candidates for NH Senate and House were in attendance and spoke to a crowd of about 175. State candidates who have taken the CNHT Tax Pledge will have their names posted sometime before the primary.
The first straw poll of the campaign season was taken with these results: (note: not everyone in attendance voted)
