HB 276 would establish additional requirements for challenging voters and establishes penalties for prohibited challenges.
Additionally, the sponsors of this bill seem to be attempting to suppress the ability of legitimate voters to have an election stolen by illegitimate voters brought in from out of town. Voter fraud of this type has been an ongoing problem in NH.
Even the Union Leader’s Rick Lehman came out against it.

You should write to the Senators to ask them to OPPOSE this bill.
Note: It is interesting to note that one of the sponsors of this bill Rep Chuck Weed, (D) was once caught handing out illegal voter affidavits of his own creation to students at the college where he works. You can also write to the ‘conservatives’ on the committee to ask them why they would want to block the prevention of voter fraud, which is rampant in NH.
Update: This bill is still in committee and you should continue to put pressure on your Senators about this.
