Expansion of N.H. Assessing Standard Board debated

CONCORD — Adding more general public representation to the 15-member state board that governs New Hampshire’s assessing standards drew area support at the Executive Departments and Administration Committee hearing in the State Senate.

Former Laconia City Councilor and state representative Niel Young and District 1 Executive Councilor Raymond Burton were just two of the people who spoke at Tuesday’s hearing in support of Senate Bill 198, which is sponsored by District 2 Senator Deborah Reynolds, D-Plymouth.
