We were pleased to see that in today’s March 17 edition of SeacoastOnline.com the paper defended the right of everyone’s freedom of speech. In an unsigned op-ed, they assured the residents of Hampton that it is perfectly OK for CNHT or anyone else to disseminate their opinions on elections and that voters are still free to vote as they wish. Whew. The way freedom of speech is being attacked in so many ways lately, we were frankly, relieved to see some common sense in this matter.

We certainly agree with that, but we don’t see the so-called “Yellow Sheet” as anything more than the opinions of one group about what would be in the best interests of Hampton voters, and we see nothing wrong with that.”
