The Town and District Deliberative Sessions were held this past week. There were no substantive changes to proposals brought forward by the District Budget Committee and School Board, nor to those brought forward in the towns.

NKTA will be having weekly articles informing, not advocating, about the warrants that will be on the ballots for March 12. NKTA is an educational NH non-profit.
We have a mission of informing for the best in education and local government at affordable and sustainable costs. We do look into candidates for office for the School Board and Budget Committee, and recommend those who align with our mission.
This year, in two contested races, we recommend supporting Jamie Fitzpatrick for Newton School Board and Mary Cyr for the At-Large position on the School Budget Committee.
Most important, plan to vote on March 12! If you will be out of town, please get your absentee ballot that will be available through your town clerk in the coming week or so.
