Just wanted to drop a note to our “Email list” colleagues regarding 2019 and NKTA need for continued support from our members and from those on our email list and from the broader community.
We had a busy year in 2018 and more to do in 2019 (see the bottom of the email for those interested in some details).
2019 will be a pivotal year for NKTA and for our communities.
The School district will be faced with structural choices concerning right sizing the district, that will have significant impact to our communities.
It is critical that NKTA continue to be able to provide support for reasoned positions through this process as well as doing the research and providing information to the community about the status of events as this process unfolds.
Now more than ever we need the support of our friends in the community.
We have made great strides in the past few years, but there is far more work to be done yet. Indeed our work cannot get done without your support.
If you have the ability to become a full member (Family membership has not changed since our inception and still remains only $20), we would love to have the additional support and add you to our members list. Won’t you please consider becoming a member to keep NKTA strong and relevant in the community.
In the meantime, we will continue our efforts on your behalf and on behalf of the entire community and will continue to provide updates and information
