In New Boston the Selectmen have been running roughshod over a small repair business which has been in operation since 1965.
Calling it a junkyard, the code enforcement officer and selectmen have used statutes involving junkyards to strip the owner of vested rights to the entire 1.5 acre property. The limit to which they will go can be seen here:

The New Boston selectmen hired someone, without a contract or liability insurance, to haul the offending “junk” to an illegal junkyard in Dunbarton, NH.
Some of the “junk” removed included the owners personal galvanized boat trailer – with the license plate still attached!
