Another HB 368 subcommittee meeting has been scheduled for this Wednesday, October 28.

The Probation Appeals Subcommittee will meet for a work session after the Evaluation and Records Subcommittee meeting in LOB 207.

The schedule for Wednesday is as follows:
LOB 207 @ 1:30 PM — Evaluation & Records Subcommittee
LOB 207 @ 2:00 PM or after previous session — Probation Appeals Subcommittee
LOB 205 @ 2:00 PM — Definitions Subcommittee

We encourage you to attend these work sessions if you are able. Strong attendance at these meetings demonstrates that homeschoolers are concerned about their freedoms. A number of the committees have allowed time for public comment. If this occurs again, we encourage you to take the opportunity to politely and persuasively address the points made by the various committee members and invited contributors. We suggest emphasizing that the homeschool law has worked well for nearly 20 years, and that there is no reason to change it. In fact, if any change is needed, less regulation would be more appropriate.
