There is going to be a public meeting tonight in Claremont, New Hampshire to discuss a tax cap in the city.
City Manager Guy Santagate wants to cap any possible property tax increase this year at two and a half percent. He says with the uncertain economic climate, residents need to know that they will not be hit with a huge property tax increase next year.
Tonight’s meeting is at 6:30 p.m. at Stevens High School.
