{"id":777,"date":"2009-06-24T19:57:38","date_gmt":"2009-06-24T23:57:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cnht.org\/news\/?p=777"},"modified":"2019-03-16T09:07:16","modified_gmt":"2019-03-16T14:07:16","slug":"data-shows-global-warming-does-not-exist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cnht.org\/news\/2009\/06\/24\/data-shows-global-warming-does-not-exist\/","title":{"rendered":"Data Shows Global Warming Does Not Exist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>by Bob Kingsbury<\/em><\/p>\n<p>According to the data collected about &#8216;ice outs&#8217; from the year 1888 to 2009 on Lake Winnipesaukee, global warming does not exist, at least here in NH.<\/p>\n<p>Essentially all the 122 ice out dates are in April, with a few in March and a few in May.<br \/>\nThe facts show, there is no Global Warming trend of colder to warmer, or any other trend. <\/p>\n<p>When averaged, the ice out dates are:<br \/>\n&#8211; April 16 for the first 61 years from 1888 to 1948.<br \/>\n&#8211; April 19 is for the years from 1949 to 2009 showing the trend is to be slightly cooler.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, there is no Global Warming, not as far as the &#8220;big lake&#8221; is concerned.<\/p>\n<p>This data has a second advantage, in that is it local. It is not in some far off and unavailable area like some ice flow in the Arctic.<br \/>\n###<\/p>\n<p><em>Bob Kingsbury (R.I.P) is a resident of Laconia who served in General Patton&#8217;s Army.
