Behold the stupidity:<\/p>\n

“During its meeting this week in Concord, the Millennial Advisory Council should take a look at how the NH House Election Law Committee is once again considering putting up a \u201cYoung People Keep Out\u201d sign on our border through HB 1264<\/a>, which aims to deter college students from voting.<\/p>\n

HB 1264<\/a> is effectively the same bill as the highly scrutinized HB 372. They both would result in the same poll tax for any voter in New Hampshire who has an out-of-state drivers\u2019 license, which disproportionately includes college students. These bills would require such voters, within 60 days of voting, to pay the motor vehicle fees to obtain a New Hampshire driver\u2019s license and car registration.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Apparently the writer of this article has a few things confused.<\/p>\n

Attracting millennials to NH means getting them to find jobs here and stay here.<\/p>\n

It does not include allowing them to vote in ‘hit and run’ fashion.<\/p>\n

They do not have to “pay” to vote, they only have to be actual residents in the state, which includes a permanent living arrangement giving them the right to a legitimate NH drivers license, and hence the right to vote.<\/p>\n

How dare she conflate one (attracting millennials to live here) with the right to vote as a NON-resident?<\/p>\n
