It simply reserves the right of the state to reject anything it feels the federal government does that is unconstitutional with regard to states&#8217; rights.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Bill text:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gencourt.state.nh.us\/legislation\/2009\/HCR0006.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">HCR 6<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This was heard before the House State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs on February 5, 2009 at 1:00 PM in the LOB room 203. The House Committee vote was 11-7 &#8220;ITL&#8221;. <strong>But House and Senate members can still support this.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of today 31 States already are now claiming, or are planning for declaration of sovereignty:<br \/>\n<strong><\/p>\n<p>States That Already Are Sovereign \/ Passed 10th Amendment Restatement Legislature:<\/strong><br \/>\n  &#8211; California (CA)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Colorado (CO)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Hawaii (HI)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Louisiana (LA)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Massachusetts (MA)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Oklahoma (OK)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Texas (TX)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Utah (UT)<\/p>\n<p><strong>States Claiming Sovereignty:<\/strong><br \/>\n  &#8211; Arizona (AZ)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Arkansas (AR)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Georgia (GA)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Kansas (KS)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Kentucky (KY)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Indiana (IN)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Iowa (IA)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Michigan (MI)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Minnesota (MN)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Missouri (MO)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Montana (MT)<br \/>\n  &#8211; New Hampshire (NH)<br \/>\n  &#8211; South Carolina (SC)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Tennessee (TN)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Washington (WA)<\/p>\n<p><strong>States Planning \/ Motioning Toward Claiming Sovereignty:<\/strong><br \/>\n  &#8211; Alabama (AL)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Alaska (AK)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Idaho (ID)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Maine (ME)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Nevada (NV)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Ohio (OH)<br \/>\n  &#8211; Pennsylvania (PA)<br \/>\n  &#8211; West Virginia (WV)<\/p>\n<p>Florida is circulating a petition.<\/p>\n<p>Please write to your <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gencourt.state.nh.us\/house\/default.aspx\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Local Representatives<\/a> and ask them to vote to<strong> SUPPORT this bill by voting NO to ITL<\/strong> on March 4, 2009 when it comes to the floor. Remind them that since they took an oath to uphold the NH Constitution, there is no reason why they should not vote to reaffirm it with HCR 6.<\/p>\n<p>Then contact all <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gencourt.state.nh.us\/Senate\/default.aspx\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">24 NH Senators<\/a> and ask them to recommend this bill.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE: There will be a massive rally at the statehouse on March 4 to support this bill.
