Many books assigned to children have violent or in appropriate sexual content. If a parent sees that their child has violent tendencies, this opt out (courtesy of HB 542) gives that parent the option at the parent&#8217;s expense.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This attempt to take away this right is irresponsible on the part of sponsors Sen. D&#8217;Allesandro, Dist 20; Sen. Watters, Dist 4; Sen. Soucy, Dist 18; Rep. Goley, Hills 8<\/p>\n<p>Write the Senate Education Committee and tell them to vote NO on this Bill.
