\nHouse Constitutional and Statutory Recodification Subcommittee to Review Religious Societies Taxation<\/strong><\/p>\n

CONCORD \u2013 Tuesday a House Constitutional Review and Statutory Recodification subcommittee will meet at 10:00am in room 206 of the Legislative Office Building to review RSA Title 29 relative to religious societies. Members of the NH Council of Churches and others have been invited to attend to discuss the state laws, including the existing ability of religious groups to levy taxes on church members, laws specific to only certain religions, and statutes governing meetinghouses and pew ownership.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
