The writer remarked:<\/p>\n<p><em>Last Sunday, a guest commentary claimed New Hampshire\u2019s revenue structure is \u201coutdated.\u201d When did that happen?<\/p>\n<p>One had to read beyond all the preparatory verbiage to recognize this was not a call for something good. Checking the writer\u2019s bio confirmed it.<\/p>\n<p>She belongs to the Granite State Fair Tax Coalition. That name says it all. \u201cFair Tax\u201d is an oft-touted euphemism for \u201cHigher Tax.\u201d You\u2019ll notice those who advocate higher taxation are ambiguous about it. They can\u2019t convey that intent with honesty. People would reject it.
