{"id":1294,"date":"2010-09-08T20:48:19","date_gmt":"2010-09-09T01:48:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cnht.org\/news\/?p=1294"},"modified":"2017-11-30T12:13:16","modified_gmt":"2017-11-30T17:13:16","slug":"gsftc-still-wants-an-income-tax","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cnht.org\/news\/2010\/09\/08\/gsftc-still-wants-an-income-tax\/","title":{"rendered":"GSFTC Still Wants an Income Tax"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A few years ago, The Granite State Fair Tax Coalition tried to mount a campaign against those candidates taking the CNHT Pledge against broadbased taxes by introducing a confusing warrant article on the ballots of NH&#8217;s town elections.<\/p>\n<p>Some folks were fooled by it, even though they also voted for less spending. The GSFTC&#8217;s article was non-binding but nevertheless, that&#8217;s what this is about.<\/p>\n<p><em>The coalition will be holding a series of forums called Putting Our Money Where Our Mouth is: New Hampshire&#8217;s Priorities and Budget starting in late September. One forum will be held in Portsmouth on Thursday, Sept. 23 at 7:00 PM in the Levenson Room of the Portsmouth Public Library. Each forum will be recorded for broadcast on community access TV.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It might be interesting to attend their forum and ask questions.
