A few years ago, The Granite State Fair Tax Coalition tried to mount a campaign against those candidates taking the CNHT Pledge against broadbased taxes by introducing a confusing warrant article on the ballots of NH’s town elections.<\/p>\n
Some folks were fooled by it, even though they also voted for less spending. The GSFTC’s article was non-binding but nevertheless, that’s what this is about.<\/p>\n
The coalition will be holding a series of forums called Putting Our Money Where Our Mouth is: New Hampshire’s Priorities and Budget starting in late September. One forum will be held in Portsmouth on Thursday, Sept. 23 at 7:00 PM in the Levenson Room of the Portsmouth Public Library. Each forum will be recorded for broadcast on community access TV.<\/em><\/p>\n It might be interesting to attend their forum and ask questions.
