Many important bills will reach the House and Senate for a vote on March 10, 2010.<\/strong><\/p>\n

HB 1580<\/a> – (SUPPORT)<\/strong> Establishes that parents have a natural, fundamental right to determine and direct the education of their children. The bill also exempts children who are receiving educational instruction from a parent from the compulsory attendance requirements. <\/p>\n

CACR 29<\/a> – (SUPPORT)<\/strong> Parents have the natural right to control the health, education, and welfare of their children; therefore the state shall not abridge the role or responsibility of parents in controlling the health, education, or welfare of their children. <\/p>\n

HB 1343<\/a> – (SUPPORT) <\/strong> Establishing a joint committee on the constitutionality of acts, orders, laws, statutes, regulations, and rules of the government of the United States of America in order to protect state sovereignty – 10th Amendment Support. <\/p>\n

A Protest of the Representatives is planned for 8:15-11:00 AM as they enter the State House and from 12:30-1:30 PM as they exit and re-enter for lunch. Visit the gallery all day to observe proceedings.<\/p>\n

These bills are very important to our rights as parents and citizens of NH.<\/p>\n

Please contact your Representatives<\/a> and ask them to SUPPORT<\/strong> all three.<\/p>\n

HB 1445<\/a> – eliminating the 9% meals and rooms tax on campsites that was imposed last year.
\nHB 1523<\/a> – revising the state’s bullying statutes as amended to include ALL students not just some.
\nHB 1555<\/a> – adding an exemption from immunization for conscientious beliefs.
\nHB 1661<\/a> – repealing the LLC tax which otherwise could hurt small businesses.<\/p>\n

Please contact your Representatives<\/a> and ask them to SUPPORT<\/strong> all of the above.<\/p>\n

Please ask them to OPPOSE<\/strong> the following:
\nHB 1607<\/a> – allowing the Commissioner of Revenue to set reasonable compensation for LLC’s and other small business.<\/p>\n
