In what had to be one of the most unusual ways to decide a selectman’s race in Deering NH, John Greene’s tie with his opponent (160-160) was decided with a coin toss – in his favor.
His opponent then asked for a recount which resulted in the same — 160 to 160. Greene is now the new selectman in Deering.
