SCHOOL DISTRICT GOVERNANCE ASSOCIATION
The School District Governance Association is an important group that seeks to “educate elected school district officials as to their proper role and responsibilities, promulgate best practices in good governance and prudent budgeting, formulate model school district policies so elected officials will have an independent, alternative resources, and to propose and monitor legislation that enhances local control in education and openness in administration.”
With an emphasis on enhancing local control and maintaining openness in administration the mission of this group is in line with NH values. CNHT wishes to recognize and recommend this group founded by and run by people we know and have worked with.
This group holds regular meetings at the CNHT office in Concord.
