Here at CNHT we’ve often referred to RSA 91-A “right to know” law as the “sharpest tool in the box”.
And it’s undergoing some scrutiny and possible changes.

The push is toward regionalism, and appointed, not elected officials.
HB 1266 – This is NHMA policy bill that would allow towns to vote to authorize the appointment of the town clerk by the selectmen or town manager. Current law requires the town clerk to be elected.
