CACR 1, the so-called Super Majority Legislation, will be voted on in the NH House this Wednesday.

Unfortunately, the House Ways and Means Committee has labeled CACR 1 as inexpedient to legislate (ITL), which means it will likely not pass the House on Wednesday.

This bill is a proposed Constitutional Amendment that would require a 3/5 majority vote of the legislature for ANY tax or fee increase. If approved by the House and Senate, CACR 1 would be placed on the ballot allowing YOU to have a say in how and if your taxes can be raised.

Not only will this bill give NH taxpayers a voice regarding tax increases but as we all know, restraining the legislature’s ability to tax also restricts their ability to increase spending.

We need you to contact House Minority Leader Gene Chandler and House Minority Whip Sean Jasper and urge them not to oppose CACR 1! Please use the contact information below –
