It has come to our attention that in Fremont, there will be an article on the town warrant that reads:
Article 16:
“To see if the town will adopt the provisions of NH RSA 36-A:4-a, I (b) to authorize the Conservation Commission to expend funds for contributions to qualified organizations for the purchase of property interests…”
This will allow your town to use your tax dollars to hand property over to PRIVATE INTERESTS such as land trusts and other conservation NGOs.
Just say NO.
