Here is a perfect example of the unfairness of the punishment given to LIBERAL Jesse Burchfield when he stole or falsified the records concerning $175,000 worth of Burt Cohen’s campaign money, then disappeared, causing Cohen to have to drop out of the race:
“The two sides came to a ‘basic agreement’ that Burchfield would not face jail time, even though the charge against him carries a maximum five-year prison term, said Nathan.”
So Jesse Burchfield’s lawyers will cut him a deal where he won’t face jail time even though the crime is worth 5 years?
I say, give him a stay in the *maximum security prison* where poor Chuck McGee is serving 7 months for supposedly jamming a decidedly illegal phone bank…which was never proven anyway.
